Read: Matthew 5:13-16
Reference: Matthew 5:16
Verse: Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (KJV)
Strongs’ Greek Origins:
Let your light shine (beam, radiate, give light) before men, that they may see your good (properly beautiful but chiefly good – valuable or virtuous) works (toil – effort or occupation), and glorify (render glorious in wide application, full of glory, honor, and magnify) your Father which is in heaven.
Thought: Let your light beam before men, that they may see your valuable and virtuous efforts, and wide application of your Father which is in heaven.
Impression: Once upon a time it seemed very noble to suffer and work in silence. Now I feel a release (and almost a duty) to share what seem like commonplace efforts. The predicted results? Scripture says it will glorify God for men to see His power in application.
It will be a challenge for me – in pride + discipline – to share consistently. It just that the same light that shines on strengths will illuminate weaknesses as well. Thank God He will shines through the weak spots.

Great stuf Raven. I anticipate personally seeing some more of your light shine in a week or so!
